Australia recognise FETAC 5,6 CHILDCARE

    I finding it very difficult to find out does Australia recognize FETAC 5, 6 Childcare or healthcare?

    I went on the official FETAC webpage but they don’t give much details but they just gIve a link www.workplace.gov.au unfortunately there no information on in the link. I would love to know what does FETAC 5, 6 equivalent to in Australia educational awards. Would FETAC be considered a good qualification.

    Anyone worked in queenland with childcare or healthcare FETAC qualification

    Help please

    I contact the Trade Recognition Australia they didn't give me any answers - So I am trying to find out if anyone has gone over to Australia and gain employment with their FETAC qualification.

    I worked in oz in childcare centres and needed to have my fetac level 5 and 6 assessed, at the time 2008/2009 i was deemed as a qualified childcare worker and allowed to work with 0-6 age group. All fetac quals need to be assessed and costs around 100 dollars, you can apply form ireland though aceqa.gov.au their website has all details. Hope this Helps
