what to do with this machine in the gym

well actually its not a machine just a barbell. in the gym there is this piece of metal tubing where you stick one side of the barbell in. you then put weight on the other side and can lift it at a 90 degrees angle. what is this called so I can look up in youtube of what moves to do.

FWIW, the equipment itself is called a "torsonator". Plenty of videos on youtube
