    Hey all,
I've done a silly thing... I am presently in the uk with my family spending a week with the in laws. We are flying to France on Saturday for a week in Val d'Isere, however I forgot to buy travel insurance and just realised generally this is not usually possible, anybody any experience of this situation ?
    Thanks

Will it not allow you buy the insurance on multitrip or the likes? You haven't gone on your snow holiday yet so i would have though it should still be ok.

You normally can't buy travel insurance after you've left the country.

I'd email who ever you want to buy it from and explain your situation. They prob won't cover you for your time in the UK but might sort you out once your in Val D'I.

    Otherwise you can just lie...

    Do it online

ask one of your friends to do it online for you from Ireland. you have not gone on the ski holiday yet so you should be ok

[edit]actually don't do that, go online yourself and get it now before you go on the ski holiday. that way you are not lying and there can be no kickback if you need to use the policy. If you have health insurance use their travel insurance.
