So we have all been there, sore legs, walking like a penguin around work and knowing in the back of your mind that you are getting on the bike again after work for another long spin

What do you do to get rid of the pain? Or how do you prepare for another spin when sore?

    :D

I think of the poor people in Syria getting shelled and gassed and starved and then realise my problems are tiny.

A long commute home by bike or going out for a ride after work?

I find the pain goes away when I get back on the bike...

I use sportsbalm recovery oil and find it helps after a ride.

An aul' stretch before I go out. An aul' stretch when I get back in. And stay moving. Don't let them stiffen up during the few hours after exercise and they won't stiffen up.

A big bottle of HTFU usually does the trick.

If that doesn't do the trick have a look here http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/forumdisplay.php?f=590

I generally ask one of the girls on reception to rub my thighs and calves to help massage the lactic acid out.
I cant tell you whether this works or not, as I'm not allowed to comment until the sexual harassment case is over!:D

If you are over 35 recovery from those big efforts takes just a little bit longer:pac:.

A recovery spin is best. You can take it easy when nobody is watching :pac:
