Wanted: Bike Box / Bag

    I'm looking for a bike box for some air travel I'll be doing this spring.

    I would prefer a hard case, can't be too heavy. <=16kg.
    Would also consider a bag with good protection.
    Should be able to fit a 54cm road bike without too much difficulty and ideally a tri bike in future.

    I'm based in Cork so something local would be best.

    Just a note. I've travelled with bags and box and twice my box was held back and bags went on as they were more easily fit into the hold. Box wouldn't fit and it took 12 hours to get it back once and 2 days the next time. Bikes in bags landed unscathed. Bag may be a better overall option. I've see pros using the Planet X bags a few times.

    Thanks for the info, I've updated the original post. Will also consider bags if someone has something with good protection.
