Visa for Filipina girlfriend

Hi, has anyone much experience on applying for a visa for a person in the Philippines. i think the person who wishes to come here needs to make the application in manila ?
i need to send a letter of invitation and proof that i can support her..
my girlfriend works there for 4 euro a day cash in hand i think. And i think she needs to prove she is working so she can show she has a reason to return home after her trip.. she also has a 2 year old son. she could declare him so the visa people will know she has reason to return home but he was never regestered yet.
im not very tax compliant myself.. officially i work 2 days a week.. my bosses account is lazy and pays whatever little prsi i pay every year or 2.. so showing a p60 might be a issue.. is this really important ? my bank accounts are healthy..
    seems difficult enough.
any advise would be very much appreciated.
    thanks

Definitely in the wrong forum, thankfully.

She will likely need to show savings, bank statements as well (her savings accumulated over time - not a lump sum), any loans, property or material goods she owns back home (e.g. cars) and a good reason to return home once the visa term is over e.g. secure job / family - depending on her age her parents can be involved in the process financially (I think).

You really need to have everything nailed down, finances in black and white, proof of relationship, proof of income (both of you) photographs of both of you over time and corresponding passport stamps as well I believe.
