Did I just see Easter eggs for sale in Tesco?

Can Easter eggs really be on sale on the last day of Christmas?

The wife swears she saw them on the shelves, so either she's eaten too many mince pies & is having visions,
or Easter eggs really are for sale on the 6th/January. Anyone seen them in the shops? (Easter Sunday 20th/April).

Are they at a cut price? Usually a cheap way to get chocolate if they are.

So an 'Easter Egg' is not just for Easter, at least according to the Tesco CEO.

And not a shamrock in sight even though Paddys Day is before Easter.
