    Hi,
    I am new to photography but I am thinking of buying a DSLR, I just don't have a clue about how to go around it. I am looking for nothing fancy, really basic to get me started and wanted to know could you guys help me out

    just head in to John Gunn's on Camden street... they are very helpful in there for somebody starting out

    Canon 350/400D with a kit lens 18-55mm IS 3.5-5.6

    then get yourself a 50mm F1.8, then a 75-300 telephoto

    shouldn't set you back more than 300 euro.

    From there you should get to grips with the basics.

    Plenty of entry level DSLRs on Adverts.ie at the moment. :)
