    Hi,

How often and what techniques do you use for stretching? I do a couple of insanities, a couple of Convict Conditioning routines a week as well as play astro.

Insanity has a little bit of stretching and I try to get to astro a half hour early to do some but I'd like some guidance. What do you do? Particularly with a workout like CC that doesn't include any cardio.

Secondly somedays after exercise I'm extra groggy, headache, dizzy, generally dumb. I've eaten plenty of good foods eg: eggs, steak, nuts, yoghurt, salad and drank loads of water. Today I felt crap for ages, did a workout about half 2 and only beagn to feel better after it. What is that?

    Cheers

google dynamic stretching and foam rolling

have a banana 30 minutes before you work out that may stop the groggyness.

If you're feeling tired / groggy and sitting down all day not doing much , try
doing some pushups , burpees , jumping jacks etc. Go out for a walk in the fresh air.

As far as stretching goes as was said before, go Dynamic , stretch in the movement ect.

    Cheers folks,

The banana makes sense. I eat one everyday in work and don't feel like that but never ate one during the holidays. Back to work today, all sorted.

I don't think I explained that very well. I spent the morning doing housework and went to the supermarket in the hope the groggyness would pass. It didn't so I did the exercise anyway and felt better.

I'll incorporate the dynamic stretches from now on.

    Thanks a million.
