Yep, I got the rcx3 (with heart rate monitor and gps) from fitness digital over Christmas for the same reason - very nice and slim compared to ones with integrated gps.

In terms of fitness digital, I was extremely impressed - I ordered it late on a Sunday evening and it arrived (from Spain) Tuesday morning! They were also the cheapest for the package - I know great outdoors have the watch for €189, but it's watch + heart rate monitor only, no packages.

Can't give any view on the cycling / cadenced sensors, but it works extremely well with the HRM and GPS. It has 4 sport profiles; running, cycling x2 (presumably if you have different bikes for different training), and "other". You can enable each of the sensors once in the settings for each profile and it detects them within ~5 secs before you start training. Also if you have say two sensors activated but only bring the one along, it will just say to check the one that's missing at the start of recording, but continues to record everything else so you don't need to go back and disable the missing sensor from settings.

The ownindex fitness test (vo2max) is a nice addition, and it's good to be able to see which heart zone your training in. I'm still learning the watch but it's all very easy to learn - basically you can use it simply as a "press and go" watch, or dive down and let it measure how fatigued you are and change training accordingly.

Also Polarpersonaltrainer.com is good too.You just install the program on your laptop and setup an account online. Then to upload data you literally stick in the wireless usb dongle, press "sync" on the watch, and it uploads your data straight to the website!

If there was two things I'd like it to have, it would be customisable screens for in-training (however the 6 are very easy to flick through on the move, but still), and I'd also like it to have a heart rate recovery mode (although again you can just leave it recording for 2 mins after you finish your activity and then look at the rate of recovery online, so again not a deal breaker).

Lemme know if you've any other Q's!
