Does anyone have an idea of how much it would cost to fit a new boot lid on a Mondeo saloon?

    Thanks.

Kinda depends, painting would be most of the cost. Is it an old car?

I'm looking at sourcing a replacement of the same colour from a breakers yard, so as to avoid that expense. The car is a 2003.

For a 2003 model I'd say thats definately the way to go. I'd imagine you'd eventually find one for a saloon most especially unless its a totally bizzare colour altogether. Cost of buying one new and painting it might be mad altogether. Then the colour match might be not quite perfect.

I'd imagine you'd get it fitted for €50 or less, or more depending on who you go to. The price of car body work varies immensly. Try to avoid places who do a lot of insurance work if your trying to get it done on the cheap...
