just wondering what bus would bring you from the Griffith avenue/Marino area to clontarf. My friend lives on sea field road and I'm looking for a quicker way to get there, I know the 130 can bring you from there but I don't know where to get the bus from. I'd even be willing to get a bus from malahide road,.

Walk down to Fairview and get the 130 from there, outside Marino college.

Artanevilla has the right solution. Walk down to Marino College in Fairview (beside the fish shop called Wrights of Marino) and get the 130 bus from there. Or even get bus number 14, 15, 27, 27A, 27B, 42, or 43 from around Marino/Malahide Road down to Fairview, and wait for the 130 there. But it's only a 5 mins walk from Marino/Malahide Road to Fairview (Marino College). If you would rather just bus it, the longer way would be to get bus route 123 from Marino (Players Lounge) into O'Connell Street (stops outside the Gresham Hotel), then walk from there down to Lower Abbey Street (outside Le Phare Cafe....think i spelled it correctly) and pick up the 130 from there to Clontarf/Castle Avenue.

But like i said the best way would be to do what Artanevilla says.
