28 year old in south Dublin, been gigging on and off since I was 16. My last band broke up in November and I'm getting a bit bored and would like to get back out there. I've got a decent job that can be demanding at times so this is purely a bit of fun I'm looking for, I've no dreams of making it. Practice once a week, gig once or twice a month is the kind of thing that would suit me.

Band I played in from when I was 16 til about 24:

Last band I was in (we were around for about 2 years):

I'm into rock music. Favourite bands would be the Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Queens of the Stone Age. Actually I'd love to play in a tribute act for one of those bands but there's not exactly a load of them knocking around. So I'd be interested in rock, maybe something bluesy. Or maybe something a bit different, feel free to suggest anything to me. Originals or covers is fine, but I don't want to end up in a working covers band. This needs to be enjoyable and my brief experience of wedding/party bands is that they are not. I guess I'd be looking for a band around a similar age range, 25 - 35ish.

I'd like to think I'm a decent enough bass player, not a virtuoso or anything but I can play well enough to slot into most bands. I've got some pretty good gear too. I also play piano to a decent level, or I did at one stage. Haven't played much over the past few years. I don't really do backing vocals.

That's about it so. Give me a shout if you're in a band that might suit me who need a bass player.

Will give this a bump, randomly ended up playing drums for a one off show so was busy with that. Also got a new Fender Bass VI I'd love to jam with.
