Carrying 12 7 in that ground good luck with that it'll take some performance.

Oi, what are you doing? You know Mallor Tree is in that race :P

I quite like Society Shares at 8/1, the only worry for me is the bounce factor. Jumps Road should win even with 12-7 if Powell can concentrate on running his race instead of trying to shove the horse down the eye of a needle.

Id be fine with the weights give. The remaining field aren't carrying any significantly feather light weights. Also
after his performance against the new one and zarkandar when tizzards yard were under a cloud
the only other horse id be worried about is nicholls unless maller three can run anything close to his best form in ireland

I thought you were always on about Maller Tree but just realised he was ****e until a good win the last day, wouldn't mind but fancied him and left it alone and he dotted in.

Not sure what horse you were talking about

Just the one for me tomorrow.

    Perfect Promise 3.55 Cork
    - I could be way off here but the fact he ran in a Grade 2 last time behind Fine Rightly and Royal Caviar suggests he must have shown something. This is a much weaker race and at fist glance there doesnt appear to be much of note in it. With Jane Mangan booked and King Willie not having an entry it should have a strong e/w chance.

That Avondhu lady in cork is about two stone well in isnt she?? going by her chase mark,

Capone 25-1 in the 3:10 is down to it's last winning mark. Is being backed so expect that price to look big tomorrow. Just in from the pub ;)

Hi Pail welcome to the morning line again...you tipped up about 9 horse over the christmas and didn't have a winner...now that I've completely smashed your confidence...how is your aul one

I like the looks of Northern Acres @ 9/2 in the 105 in Newcastle as he seems to like the track and the ground.

:pac: :pac: :pac: lads I know in maiden hurdles half the fields are non triers and just stay out the back, watch the replay of the 1.00 at Cork there and keep an eye on Street Party, pulled the jockey into the leading group and he is motionless after the third last, watch him between the second last and the last he takes an obvious pull doesn't even make it look like he's pushing the horse

Golden Desert (25/1) 1-25 Lingfield could have a chance if the race is run to suit. The faster the early pace the better for this one. Although he is now 10 years young he's 3lb lower than his last winning mark which was around this time last year.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

That is a tricky looking race Hawkhead I was going to take a chance on Top Offer each way at 20s last night but I missed the price. Lucky Di was a huge eye catcher two runs back and is one to keep an eye on today, think she will win in a smaller field when better drawn

Yeah it was a tricky one alright Urban. Ran well enough, staying on from the back to finish 5th without ever troubling the leaders

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 18,335 ✭✭✭✭UrbanSea

Ran well alright he should go in again soon. Thought Top Offer was the one to take out of the race, totally missed the break was dead last, made eye catching headway but had to turn in six wide. Ended up about a 2 lengths fourth having traded around 6/4, would be very generous if he got dropped another pound or two.

If you collect your bet quick enough powers dont hit ya with a rule4 after something was withdrawn, great bunch of lads.

Both horses look like it wont be too long before they pick up a race. Hopefully they are a nice price when doing so

Was going with perfect promise in the cork bumper (her ptp form is good and blew the cobwebs away lto) but have followed the money on local trainer tyner vicangelome instead. If perfect promise romps home I will cry.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 205 ✭✭king Henry 14

    VICANGELOME 3.55 CORK.
Got this horse from a mate of the owners. He was entered for a big sales bumper at Newbury last March but the meeting was abandoned. Had a spin around navan three weeks ago to put him right for today. Trainrr and owners are local corkonians. They really like this one. Today should be the day.
    Good luck.

Vardas supreme in the next at Newcastle @12's
Also instant impact in cork 3.10 @ 10's

Thoughts on DINGO BAY in the 2:50 Newcastle

Conditions and course will suit, ran a half decent race on his return before falling. Struggling to see what can beat it

INDIAN VOYAGE form has been hit today with Etxalar drifting in the market and pulling up today

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 46 davesmith7

Dingo Bay is well fancied on another forum, feel it will win.

Uramazin 10-1 is overpriced liked the way it ran the last day.

Agree with this however Vardas supreme has a swing in the weights this season(as opposed to the same race last season). He (VS) may be kept for the next race but reckon he could be laid out and if so it'll be between these 2.

While he would not have matched the winner, he made sure he didn't finish too close to the winner. Into the Tracker he goes.

Despite pricewise marking up rivello , from that infamous punting stable :) in 310 ling, he is still easy enough back and Perfect pasture is still solid fav to bring up the 6 timer even going up in grade.going to dabble.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,681 ✭✭✭BumperD

Ha watched Castillo del diablo there, think he was formerly Hannon/Ogden, lost a few euro on him when he ran as a 2yr old

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 3,132 ✭✭✭SRFC

A disgrace of a ride on that street party worth a watch to anyone who hasnt seen it,not off a yard,it was one of the horse maiden hurdles ive ever seen surprised the fav wasnt about 1/5 to beat that rag of charles byrnes.

Anyone see that race there in lingers? Grendisar still on the bridle with 1/2f to go. What in the name of god was the jockey at(never heard I him)? Or is the horse just a bridle merchant?

Why don't the stewards just ban the jockey and trainer for a few months ffs it was an absolute disgusting ride, and in Ireland again corrupt the racing is over here

Was wondering why that horse hadn't been given a mark after 3 runs the handicapper will only do that if he thinks he hasn't been trying, 12 lengths behind Flaxen Flare in a maiden before has some ability

Fair play to the handicapper for that, had strong flat form

Briar hill and Mozoltov look things tomorrow in the punters graveyard :pac:

Sickening, first bet of the day and nearly enough to put me off for the rest of it.

I know people rate Townend but I think he has a fierce habit of getting good horses beaten or to fall, never back anything he rides anymore.

Them fences in Cork are notorious in the straight the amount of horses that fall at them, chapman put the kiss of death on him :pac:

Have backed Capone, but looking at things now would need a miracle to win.
Perfect Pasture would be the one I pick now looks a good thing 5/2
