Hi, as the title states I'm looking for pictures of aircraft landing circa 1990's, I vaguely recall seeing pictures of an Air France 747 landing on it but I cant seem to find it anywhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No chance it was a 747 largest was a 737 in a very strong wind

I always wanted to know which runways were active when. Does anyone know where I could get a timeline or would anyone in the know be kind enough to let me know.

As far as I know 05/23 closed around 1988/9 when 10/28 was opened and 11/29 closed in April '07

Would I be right in thinking that 16/34 is the original runway?

It was 06/24 before being redesignated owing to magnetic variation. Similarly 11/29 was 12/30 and 16/34 was 17/35.

I saw an Iberia A300 land on 30, as it then was, circa 1981/2, and on the same very windy day I recall an Aer Lingus 737-200 or two also landing on 30. Trans European Airways, who used to send their 737-200s to Dublin for maintenance, also requested 30 for landing on occasion, possibly as the aircraft were arriving empty and could easily stop in the length available.

I found the picture that I was thinking of (http://www.airliners.net/photo/Air-France/Boeing-747-128/1605901/L/&sid=a3e3a206cba476e1787ec5997a41fb5d) it was runway 23 not 11 or 29 like I had initially thought.

I landed on Rwy 11 back in the day (mid 90's) on a training flight in a Cessna. Didn't have a camera back then to take aerial pics.
£2 landing fee and £18 for the 1 minute bus from the light aircraft park into the terminal :)
The good auld days when you could still land in Dublin.
