    Hi,

I have owned various A4's for over 5 years now but I am looking to change. I am very happy with the A4 however I am looking to purchase a Q3 for accessibility as I have problems with my back and thinking the higher car might be easier for me. Just wondering what your thoughts on this are and how you would rate it in comparison to the A4.

    Any information much appreciated

We looked at the Q3 as well instead of the A4.

It had a nice high driving position but not much more room than the A4.

Lovely finish inside in the correct spec.

Funnily enough my wife changed from an A6 to the Q3 a few months ago due to having a bad back after prolonged periods of driving. So far the Q3 has proven more comfortable due to the higher driving position. They don't come with a lot of kit as standard and the interior is not as nice as the A6 but she loves it.

Despite being a big enough car there is not a lot of room inside. The boot for example is surprisingly small although the rear seats do fold down.

Having driven it myself a few times I found it a very easy and comfortable car to drive. I would still prefer an A4 or A6 over the Q3 but I guess thats because I see it as a girls cars. :-)

Its based on the older A3 so is a similar sized car - smaller than the A4 and A6. Interior is probably nicer than the A4 but would require leather, alloy upgrade and xenon to really finish it.

Agree with you - would take an A6 and possibly an A4 over it.

Q3 can be small, have you considered Q5??
