I used pc part picker to come up with this build, http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/2uUzR

And i was wondering if anyone here could tell me if its ok? Just want to make sure theres no compatibility issues with some parts being too big or what not. Wondering as well if i could downgrade to 430w power supply rather than the 500w.

    Thanks in advance.

Since you are getting a dedicated GPU, go for a FX6300 and and AM3+ board it a much stronger CPU.

The parts you have picked could certainly manage on a 430W, although I'd nearly keep the 500W because it is semi modular and leaves a little more upgrade flexibility for an 8-core CPU and bigger GPU in the future.

Also I'd go with a 2X4GB rather that 1X8 GB of ram for dual channel operation.
