You need to see a dentist in person, as it is not possible/advisable to bridge every large space. Other options are to leave the gap, implant(s), or a denture.

Maryland bridges are more conservative but need good quality& thickness of enamel. The size of the space, the bite & number/condition of adjacent teeth are also relevant.

There are so many factors involved that are specific to you that it is impossible to judge which would be best in your case. Your bite force and pattern play a major part, along with the status of the retaining or abutment teeth. Maryland bridges are generally not for long span bridgework (more than one replacement tooth) however that is not a hard and fast rule. Bridgework is often best avoided if implants are an option. As the wise Dianthus says you need a proper consultation with a dentist.

STAY AWAY FROM MARYLAND!! I am a dental nurse and anytime any of my dentists see a maryland that has come off it needs to be replaced by a new bridge. Bridges in general are ok but there are a number of factors to consider eg will you be cutfing into virgin tooth in order to create support for this bridge. If so most dentists dont like this. If you can afford it you should get an implant w a cantiliver bridge on it. Good luck

Thats simply not true, a well executed resin bonded bridge can be a very reliable, long lasting restoration. I would have one in my own mouth and I am a prosthodontist. Resin bonded bridges get a bad rap cause bad ones dont work well. It is no surprise that you dentist see bad one, cause the good ones dont debond, its like a car mechanic think the brand of car he works on is unreliable.

This is definitely not true, a well made adhesive bridge conforming to basic principles lasts a very long time ,however an adhesive bridge is much more technique intensive than a conventional bridge and unless the dentist is experienced in the technique failure does happen
