I am looking at having to replace a timing chain on a 1.0 corsa c engine, for all the cars worth and with no nct now I have to try the repair myself. Can anyone advise on the job needed is it a straight forward job, do i need any special tools etc Also can anyone advise on any online guides for doing such a job.

    cheers

You can buy a split type chain for these which an experienced person can fit in about an hour. So it doesn't have to be an expensive job. In my opinion it's not worth the hassle of buying the special tools and doing it yourself.
