Can we get a thread like the "What have you watched recently" one going just for good-bad movies? Sometimes there's nothing better than watching a film fail in such a spectacular fashion. This could be the repository for those films.

    Lethal Ninja

Watched this last night. A woman is kidnapped by an evil chemical corporation (I think). Her husband goes around with his kick boxing friend asking everyone if they've seen her, where she is, and beating up very bad ninjas. Probably the only film with ninjas on roller skates with knives attached to them.

You know how there's a video of every instance of the word "Fuck" in Sopranos? You could do this with the word "Man" for Lethal Ninja. Some really confusing dialogue coupled with performances that take a page from the Shatner book on acting. I really think the bad guys only got so far because everyone around them up the point our "Hero" arrives was even more incompetent. He goes up against easily the worst ninjas ever, including some beige ones, and one scene which is an homage to Indiana Jones.

Good fun. Using the + / - scale stolen from another Film forum user who's username I forget, with +10 being an actually good movie, and -10 being a good-bad movie (Zero is a nothing movie, totally boring), I give this a solid -6.

It gets even better if you take it all seriously.

Independence Day is without doubt the greatest film ever made.

The Day after Tomorrow is top class aswell.

The earth climate dramatically changes from Normal to Ice Age as if a switch has just been hit and the norther hemisphere is plunged into a second ICE age but it is all worth it because Jake Gylenhall and Emmy Rossum finally get together and the father son bond between Dennis Quaid and Jake Gylenhaal has been strengthened.Who cares about the millions who have died when it helps sort out a few peoples personal issues. Also the George Bush and Dick Cheney lookalikes are great aswell.

I must have seen it ten times already.
