Anyone use these irons? (Talking about the older model, not the newer V2 clubs)

Thinking of picking up a 2nd hand set, nice looking clubs. Any feedback?

I've been using Wilson irons for many years, I've had the FG Tour, FG62, V2 and am awaiting delivery of the new FG100 blade, I cannot recommend them highly enough they're high quality forging and pretty easy to hit for a forged club, if you can afford it try get the V2 as they'll be reasonable 2nd hand now.

I've used the original FG tour irons for the past 3 years. Lovely clubs, would recommend. Handicap went from 12 to 5 in that time and would feel at 12 handicap they were still ok to hit for what would be classed a better players club.
Had them reshafted by Foregolf in that time putting in a more lightweight shaft (Dymamic gold SL x100) and that helped a lot.
Would consider upgrading to the v2 model this year maybe.

Just googled the new Wilson blades that Gorfield mentioned above, lovely looking clubs.

I play these, they are top irons, the cavity promotes slightly higher ball flight, and is forgiving despite the so called player looks. Simple design, does the job, looks great.

I've used Wilson Progressives (1992), FG 59's, and FG Tours, these are by far the best iron they have made imo. They can probably be had second hand for over a hundred quid too.

TBH never considered Wilson irons but after playing the tour ball and hearing the positive reports here I'm gonna try pick up a second hand set of the FG tours

I play these irons also. I love the look of them. Went to get custom fit and turns out I'm mister average regarding everything so I could pick a set straight off the shelf with a True Temper R300 shaft. Handy if ever I decide to change them
