Carn Park - Carpark ??

Hi,
I'm new to Westmeath and I'm looking for some forestry trails to run. On the Coillte website it mentions Carn Park. It says that there is a carpark and some trails there already. Does anyone here know where the car park is located? I've taken a look on google maps/ streetview and tried to look up the trails but no joy. If anyone has any info that'd be great.

hi Loctite I have not heard about carn park, but I think it is a bog, if you want forestry trails use coillteoutdoors it gives you the locations which are,
Westmeath Mullaghmeen Forest

If you have a car, you could head to mote park on the Athlone side of Roscommon or Lough Key outside Boyle.

Portlick Forest out past Glasson has a nice trail for a walk or run down to the lake.

you could try moat park halfway between athlone and roscommon.

Here is Carn Bog on Bing maps (google doesn't have a good aerial view). You get access at the East, either north or south of that field.

It's not much for running: more of a "stroll with the dog" spot. Most of the site is a raised bog under restoration, no tracks, but there is a boardwalk out to a viewing point here.
