Guitarist looking to start rock/metal band in Dublin

01-01-2014 3:01pm#1I'm currently looking to start a band of varied music genres, the age range would be age 18 to mid 20s (I'm a 19 male myself). Living around D8, D6, D4 and D2 would be a great plus too.
In terms of musical interest, I have a great range of musical taste ranging from that of Kodaline, Sum 41, Arctic Monkeys, Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi, Thin Lizzy, Avenged Sevenfold and even Slipknot & Lamb of God. So I have a great range of tastes which I'd be interested in playing. I've been playing guitar for almost 3 years, self taught. I have a Marshall 30mgdfx, an Ibanez RG and an Epiphone SG with EMG pickups (81 & 85).
In terms of forming a band, let's say that we'd need another guitarist, a drummer, a bassist and a vocalist. I can't sing well, but I could do backing vocals. We could start off doing covers and see where we go from there. Even just for jamming would be fun too :pac:
