Best option if you use DART and bus daily?

I use the bus and Dart daily to commute. Up until now I could buy a monthly shot-hop bus and rail for €110, but I'm no longer a student so that's now €156.

Is that still my cheapest option? A single for me on the Dart is €4.70 and bus is about €2. How much would that work out with a leap card?

http://www.irishrail.ie/index.jsp?p=118&n=198 gives you point to point short hop fares.

www.dublinbus.ie has a point to point fare calculator as well.

Add the relevant fares as well and don't forget to allow for return trips and other days out that you need bus/rail for. On the surface, €156 a month will be a good saving; a Taxsaver ticket will save you more as well.
