Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Metal Cover Band (Dublin)

    What's up,

I am just wondering if anybody would be up for starting a Metal cover band. There are so many cover bands in the Dublin circuit but I honestly haven't heard of one Metal cover band. I believe if we can set up a band, get a good, strong set-list to start off with, the likes of Fibbers and the Gypsy Rose would be interested.

I am 24 and a rhythm guitarist. I have been playing many years now and have some giggin experience. Interested in finding a lead guitarist, bassist, vocalist and a drummer to get this project going.

This is project is just to have fun, to keep our playing up to scratch and make a few quid in the process.

Please, for the love of god, no ****in time wasters.

    Peace!

What sort of bands would you be looking to cover?

That would be up for debate really. It would be a group decision but I would like to stay clear of extreme death metal etc. Ideally, I would like to cover songs from the Big Four, Sabbath, Alice In Chains, SoundGarden, Pantera etc. Classic Metal tunes that would get a crowd going.

    What do you play man?
