    Is going into town to watch Dad's army march down O'Connell Street and listen to Michael D make a speech (in the most unusual of accents) in the pissing rain on Easter Sunday a fitting way to commemorate a nation with a pathetic history?

    It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

    Leave the country or find a cave somewhere.Don't think I could tolerate the shinners and FF creaming themselves.

    I hope they have a concert of popular music acts. Daniel O'Donnell and Dana would be an excellent start. Then we could have poetry readings by the hosts of xpose, and fitting finale, fair city cast do complete reenactment of the events.
