    I don't think a Dr. will give you one for 2 years. And a Chemist won't dispense 2 years worth. Technically every 6 months you are supposed to have your bloodpressure checked and general check, before the Dr. re-prescribes.

    They will probably give you 6 months, and recommend you go to a GP wherever you travel to.

    Edit: There are other longer term contraceptive options that might be available to you?

    I'm afraid we can't give medical advice here, it's up to your own doctor to decide if they're happy to prescribe that amount. Best thing you can do is check with them.
