Hoping someone here can help me with a problem I seem to be having with my Sky+HD box (1TB)
About a week ago, during the first bout of high winds, we lost electricity for a few hours. When it can back, sky was still working. The following day, we lost the signal. The signal page in the options was totally blank. The lock indicator and transport stream were both null. We turned it off at the wall for a few hours, turned it back on, still nothing. Tried a planner rebuild, nothing. Tried a system reset, still nada.
Ah well I thought, I am going home for Christmas so I;ll deal with it when I get back.
So I get back to the house today, and lo and behold, the bloody thing is working. Granted the signal quality was way down on what it normally is, but it was working. Until that is I tried to watch Sky Sports News HD. No Signal. Switch to a different channel, say RTE 2 HD, works no problem, Sky News HD, fine. Sky Sports News, not fine.
Ok I thought to myself, I'll try a few other channels to see what is working, and the only ones that seem to have no signal are
    Sky 1 HD
    Sky Atlantic HD
    Sky Living HD
    Sky Sports News HD

I also tried using Sky On Demand (never used it before) and it tells me I have no Sky + subscription and to try again in a few hours.

Does anybody have any idea what could be wrong here, or any ideas on something I could try to resolve the issues before I get onto Sky Customer Support.

Dish Alignment is out of the question by the way, it is up on the roof, and I wouldn't get up on a chair, never mind a ladder, but I think the problem is at the decoder side anyway

    Thanks

That's your problem then your dish is very slightly out of alignment, it only takes a hairs breath out and you loose everything.
