    Hi I have a 04 1.6 opel vectra and gear box has gone I'm haveing trouble getting a second hand one just asking if a same year vectra 1.8 will fit an wat gear box is mine a f17 or ??? And wat other gear box will do thanks

    1.8 is a different box, what part of the country are you in?

    Dublin I was told tat it is different but I would get away wit it not sure. ??

    No, theres a different bellhousing on the 1.8 so it wont mate up to the engine. I'll pm you now about a second hand 1.6 gearbox
