    Hey People,

I'm just looking for recommendations of pubs and restaurants etc.

I have tickets for the street party but if it's too cold we do need a backup plan so any ideas for a good pub that we would have a chance of getting into would be great :D

We're staying near the train station but close to Cowgate so thinking we'll probably end up out mostly in the Cowgate & Grassmarket area but wondering are we missing on the better nightlife parts by sticking to there ?

It's just two of us myself and sister both in our 20's so want go to lively places :)

Restaurant wise now just plan enough food wouldn't mind paying a lot as long as it's worth :P

Sorry this post is abit all over the place head is spun from googling all these places :P

    Cheers :)

cant remember all the names of resturantes or nightclubs but we went to the three sisters, good craic, bar with a dance floor reminded me of a pub back home...we went to the Deacon Brodies Tavern for dinner, was ok, lovely warm place but food was just average but theres plenty of resturantes round the place the other ones we went to were good but cant remember there names. Act now that l think of it l have a book of resturantes somewhere round the place, il have a look and get back to you!

I met a guy from Edinburgh in my workplace yesterday. I asked him what to do there cos I'm heading there in Feb. He said Rose Street is just full of pubs and restaurants and it is just behind Princes Street (the main street, apparently). Have fun there.

    Hi Imjustlovely.

So what do you recommend doing in Edinburgh? I'm heading over in Feb with my gf. Both 25.

    Sights, restaurants, pubs etc.
