what's the handiest way to measure your running route?

I used to use the car but the one I have now doesn't do tenths of miles

    thanks

    Maps.google.com
use the route finding tool and use the force alternative route thing to make your route...

the route seems to be on the map
so I'll have to figure out how to do that

    how accurate will that be?

Use mapmyrun, or one of the many other similar utilities. Best to use satellite view. Not 100% accurate, but any of these will get you within a stones throw.
