    Hi guys,

I'm just going to go through a timeline of my experience with Eircom over the past few months and I'm interested to see what ye think I should do.

In early October I ordered basic broadband from Eircom, I was told by a guy called Bernard I would have it later that day. He then rang the next day saying there was a slight delay and it might take up to 4 days. Fine. A week later I rang asking why I still had no broadband and I was told I never ordered it. Ordered it again, was told, wait 4 days. A week later I rang wondering why no broadband, same excuse "you never ordered broadband". This happened (I kid you not) 4 more times over the space of the following month until finally I was told there was no available port, and I would have to call my previous supplier to get them to remove themselves. Guess who my previous supplier was... EIRCOM! After more weeks of arguing I finally got broadband as if by magic. Success!! Only at this stage I was so desperate to get my emails I was tethering my iphone which was recommended by Eircom. Then I get a bill for my mobile which was about 400 euros. On the same day I get the mobile bill, Eircom shut me off again, after only two weeks of having broadband. I call them asking why and they say I never paid my bill for the first two months, I say its because I had no service to pay for in the first place. They apologise and say they will credit my account with 100 euros to cover the 4 or 5 hundred euros in phone bills and tethering charges they already caused me over the last few months and also that I wouldn't have to pay the bills for the first two months that I had no broadband despite 5 or 6 attempts to order it. Now I've been cut off for Christmas which was all I wanted it for in the first place. Yet again, I'm told its because of these bills I was issued. They're billing me almost 300 euros for a service they only provided for less than two weeks. I have already wasted hundreds of euros trying to get them to sort it out. What do I do? I'm flat broke because of it, I have bills out the yingyang, stressed out since I couldn't contact any family over Christmas, and still have NO BROADBAND!!!

    Anybody got any advice?
