Cant speak too much to waterproof-iness, but I've found a decent liner glove combined with ALDI/LIDL ski glove to be very cold resistant and very cheap. If you warm up a bit you can also drop your liner into your pocket.

    I use these DHB liners.

For waterproofing I've never seen gloves get a really good review so I never bought them cos they are very expensive also. So I was thinking of getting a can of this stuff and spraying a second cheap pair of ski gloves with it for wet weather. What do you think?

Are the ski gloves not very bulky though? Any time I've seen them in Aldi they are very big looking

A little bit but I can move all the levers just fine. Have to stop to get anything from pockets though. I use the ski for below 8 degrees or so. 8 to 13 I have a lighter glove. Above I use my mitts. I just don't think you have to spend big money. Gonna order some of that hydrophobic spray on eBay.

I use the Aldi winter cycling gloves, they keep me warm that's the most important thing and they are waterproof to some extend. I mean if it is slashing rainning my hands will get wet no matter what, but no problem with light rain. They cost between 10 to 15 euros or less, I do not remember.

hi,I got those gloves a few weeks ago and tried them out last sunday,i hit heavy hail and rain for about 10 minutes and light rain thereafter on a 38km spin in 3c and they were fine,my hands weren't warm or cold, only little negitave was that the tip of one of the fingers were getting snagged while changing gears, happened about four times, other than that they are nice and slim fitting and feel well made, the padding on the palm could be thicker though, regards

These have been great for me in the wet but I have found them to be lacking in warmth on real cold days.

I normally wear fingerless gloves inside my waterproof ones and it works ok for me anyway.

These gloves from an Irish Based company look very good and the price is right too.

Thanks for all the replies. Went for the Endura ones the end. You could be looking at and reading reviews all day and end up spending a small fortune. Let's see how I get on with these. I'm sure they'll be fine.
