I love the Cup, had a good run last year(think I won 7, many against superior opponents on paper), I should win today on paper but who knows.

He has already made 1 transfer which I presume is to strengten his weak defence. Can see myself getting knocked out in the first round ala last year when Hazard ran riot against Villa. Praying Hazard keeps relatively quiet against Swansea today and Yaya can just piss off!

It's 37-36 at the moment to me, have Mig, Suarez, Henderson and Negredo to play. He has Nasri and Suarez as captain (I had Rooney, expecting some bonus points still). I think I have the edge as long as Suarez doesn't have a belter.

I will get a fair few bonus but I'm still in trouble.

Well that was just terrible. Thought before today cup round 1 was in the bag. I'm ranked bout 250k overall, team worth over 108 mil, some good players etc.

Opponent is ranked over 2 millionth, half his team are out (he still has aguero) and is worth about 97mil.

Poxy fecker is 1 point ahead pre bonus points, theres a very slight chance the bonus will pull me through but I'd be surprised. My worst gameweek to date and it's on day one of the cup. Bah humbug.

I'm ranked ~ 20K Cup opponent is 2.9 Million, he hasn't made a transfer yet this season and has 23 points coming off the bench to beat me by 4

The wrong transfer last week meant I needed to take a 4 point hit this week, really regretting that mistake now.

I lost 58 to 53. Opponent ranked at about 1 mil and I'm at 7k. That's the beauty of a cup competition.
