Hi guys! Happy Xmas to all. Today I noticed heifer calves I bought they are about 5-6 months old and are Herefords from freisian cows. Some are sucking ears and teats. They are getting meal however I'm not giving a lick and I'd say that's the problem. Anyway has anyone seen this problem and how did they get rid if it. I have these heifers about 6 weeks now.

I know you can get nose clips for older animals that cause discomfort to the suckee as you will. They do not stand and be sucked as readily deterring the other animal doing it, my understanding of it anyway

Sound like fun, leave them at it:D

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.
