This will be 90 mins of madness - as a pool fan im sh1tting it but it could actually be the highest scoring game of all time!! its just going to be who can outscore the other in my book - Cant see a tactical 1-1 or anything of the like, just hope city dont get in early and our heads drop, could get hammered if that happens.

Man City do not concede goals at home. 3-0 (maybe 3-1) for me.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,337 ✭✭✭✭monkey9

As long as we don't get humiliated, a defeat here but something at Stamford Bridge makes it a perfectly acceptable December for me.

Very hard to stop Suarez scoring though.

I think City will probably shade it, but wouldn't be surprised by something like a 3-3.

Dominate the game and it becomes alot easier to stop Liverpool from attacking. Bizarre to think that outside the Arsenal game, City have conceded 2 in their other home games this season at the halfway point.

Liverpool surprised me with how they did at White Hart Lane, but I think this is a completely different proposition.

They just conceded 3 at home last week (and it probably should have been more). Granted while scoring 6 themselves at the same time.

Hard to see City not scoring at least 2.

I'll say a city win but hoping for a draw or Pool win.

Half Time Score Liverpool 1-0 - Full Time Score Liverpool 2-1, 40/1 PP.
    Bring it on !

Only 2 more in all the other games. Makes more sense to look at all the stats rather than a small portion of them.

Liverpool will get hurt, but we'll bounce back.

even with Aguero out think City have way too much power. Draw would be a great result for pool but can't see it. City by 2 or more

Really wanted to see Aguero vs Suarez...The ultimate showdown !!!!

Could be another 6-3, daft though it sounds.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

City are pretty tough to beat at home and I don't see Liverpool changing that tomorrow at all, City to stroll it and dominate.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,167 ✭✭✭messinkiapina

Can't see us winning this. 3-1 to City.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,902 ✭✭✭MagicIRL

3-2 City. Suarez WILL score, that's a given. But City are just immense this season. Orrrrr this could be like MNF again and make me curl up and cry.

Cagey affair in the first half either 1 all or 1 nil to liverpool. Them boom the 2nd half city will trounce us. My heart says 2-1 to redmen my head says 4-1 to city.

I fancy liverpool. City have been great at home but this is their biggest test so far. They hammered spurs but Liverpool hit them for 5. They hammered utd but everyone beats them. The arsenal result was impressive in fairness. We will know a lot tommorrow evening.

Ciy wont go the season winning all 19 games at home and with aguero and zaba out and us being in good form with suarez being world class lately its certainly a good enough time to play them. Would love to see us nick a point or win, go for it i say!

    City 3  (Yaya, Nergerdo, kompany) - Liverpool 4 (Suarez 3, Hendo)

  • Subscribers Posts: 32,859 ✭✭✭✭5starpool

I'll take a repeat of last seasons result if I could. I expect City to win, but as with all football games, who really knows.

3-1 City would be my guess.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,167 ✭✭✭messinkiapina

I just hope we don't get hammered, if we lose by the odd goal it won't do too much damage to our confidence/momentum.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15,116 ✭✭✭✭RasTa

City at home so Liverpool have already not won. Hopefully sneak a draw

With everyone expecting goals it will turn out to be a long tactical 0-0 :)

We don't play that way :)

3-2 City, barely edging it. Should be an absolute cracker.

    2-2.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,710 ✭✭✭Corvo

Draw would be best for the neutral here of course and Liverpool certainly have it in them on current form to beat pretty much anyone in the league.

But how will they stop Fernandinho and Toure? Just seems like they will get the better of anything Liverpool throw at them.

Still, hopefully a good game to watch because the Chelsea games have been horrendous.

Would be happy to see Pool escape with a draw, probably a high scoring one.

    3 - 3.

Surely a 'neutral' would want an entertaining game.

The great thing about this game is that a defeat isn't a big deal in the scheme of things (just about a par result for any side at the Petro-Dollar Stadium this season!) while even a point would be very welcome.

    Bring it on! :)

He didn't stop him scoring the game before that at the emirates though. No one can stop him. Best player in the world right now.

LOL! Defeat by Hull much worse than beaten away by Champions elect.

I'd say it's true. Liverpool aren't really banking on leading from now til the end of the season. At worst, they'll be 3 points off the leaders tomorrow and still have superior goal difference. Still pretty good place to be.

it could be costly come May.

Every point should matter. Leave it there

Sure you could make the same argument about United, City are the strongest team in teh league and not being able to take points from them at home is hardly 'costly'.

I thought it was relevant as that's your team is all, nothing sinister about it to be honest.
