Chances of TVs being in the lightening deals? And does Amazon Super Saver delivery go to Ireland to for items like TVs?

32 inch toshiba at 10am tomorrow. Should be under 290 pounds atm but I saw a similar 32 inch LG in currys for 300, might not have been a smart tv though.

You'll never get an Apple product at a bargain price on Amazon. Thats because of Apples grip on the retail price. They do that by giving SFA discount on the retail price.

I'm looking for a decent 22" preferably smart, but if not one with more than one HDMI and scart connector. Not seeing any bargains.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,533 ✭✭✭Zonda999

There really isn't a whole load here to shout about. The only thing I've bought is Skyrim Legendary edition on PS3 for £17 which is a decent price

Picked up one of these shortly before Halloween.

    http://www.argos.ie/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10152&langId=111&q=SMART+TV&pp=20&r_001=1|Screen+size+%28in%29|22|1

Prob the best purchase I made all year. The quality of the hd picture outperforms my 42" in the living room.

Completely out of stock in Argos I see, but other retailers stock them too.

Cheers I'll look out for that one.

Fitbit is on offer at 7.30pm, I would imagine it will be popular since lots of people will be thinking of getting fit in the New Year. The New Years resolutions and all that.

This is pretty decent for 1TB USB-powered external HDD. The 2TB is £79.99 too (cheaper that the 1.5TB model).

    hi noob question

what's the diff between free delivery and free super saver delivery?

are they both free to Ireland?
and do they deliver everything here?

As far as I know, "free delivery" is only for the UK, and, "super saver delivery" is including Ireland.
You have to go to the payment stage to see if is going to be free delivery or not, to Ireland. I have been trying to purchase some stuff with super saver delivery, but when I click on delivery on my address, no, is not possible.....So, I go back and start again, after a few attempts, I get free delivery to Ireland :)
I do not know how works this system!
AND to qualify for FREE delivery the minimum value of the purchase must be over £20-25, I do not know exactly.

Free delivery is offered by some third party sellers, who use amazon to sell their products,it only applies to the UK but you can use parcel motel to avail of this.

Free Super Saver delivery applies when you spend £25 or over on qualifying items, usually sold directly by Amazon

Most Amazon direct sold items can be delivered to Ireland, with a few exceptions i.e large screen TV'S,it will tell you at the checkout process if it cant be delivered

If you want free delivery to Ireland for an order that doesn't go to £25, just add something to the order that gets the order over the £25 mark, place the order, choosing free super saver delivery at checkout. once the order is placed, cancel the item you used to go over the £25 mark, and the other items will still go through with free delivery to ireland.

    Never thought of that :D
