    Hello all,
    Today since ~7pm I have issues with Smart and their ADSL2 connection. My speed is 2mbit/s and top download speed I can get is 35kb/s. My friend has same problem. Anyone know what's going on?

    Eircom is working thru 800 faults today. It follows extensive lightning in the west, south-west and east of the country, where 7,800 customers are without service. The worst affected areas are currently Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford, North Cork, West Cork, Kerry, Galway and Mayo.
    The firm says 200 crews have been recalled from leave and will be working on St. Stephen's Day.


    maybe this has something to do with the problems, if its not sorted today it wont be until st stephens day
