Has anyone ever bought from this shop in the UK and have any feedback on how it went? I'm looking at buying two Dawes tour bikes and having them sent to Ireland (or possibly Northern Ireland if they can't do the republic). Their prices seem more competitive than anything I can find here for a mid range tour bike.

I've been drooling somewhat over their ti audax bike for awhile now, but haven't got around to buying anything from them as yet.

When I come home to my parents, this shop is kind of local, so I've been in a few times to squeeze the tyres of the bikes I can't afford.
It's a tiny shop, complete opposite of a showy bike showroom.
He seems like a really knowledgable and sound guy, told me he'd make me up a bike exactly as I'd like it, but the whole build would be too much money for me.
I think Spa cycles has a pretty good rep.

My obscure object of desire at present is a spa ti audaux, built up with campag centaur, and decent wheels with a hub dynamo. Lazy sportifs, the odd audax, and relaxed touring kind of thing on a bike that can do most things comfortably. Dithering on getting a frame and building it myself or getting them to do it. Probably go the former just as soon as this recession finally fúcks off.

I'm undecided on a steel spa cycles with 105 or a canyon inflite AL 8. Need a workhorse, the fixie is too pretty for bad weather.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I'll probably put in an order over the next few days. I'll let you know how it goes.
