I sent off my application to the NPWS today, but there not back to work as the offices are closed till 2nd of January, I hope the application does not go missing with the Christmas post, was out having a look on Sunday afternoon at one of the permissions with a buddy here from Boards. met the uncle and cousin on the same mountain. great evening hope this all falls into place heading out over the Christmas for some serious deer stalking:D:D:D.

They are usually very quick with licenses, and even quicker when it's a "mid season" application.

Not sure if it can be done for first time applicants, but for future reference go onto their website and do it all via e-mail. Simply scan the documents, permissions, your application and send it off. Any issues and you get an e-mail. Any problems they send you back a scanned copy of what needs editing. You edit it, sign it, scan it, and e-mail them back. They are very quick in that sense.

I forgot to sign mine when i e-mailed them it this year. Within 15 minutes they e-mailed me back, i printed it off, signed it, scanned it, and e-mailed it back. Ten minutes later i get the green light that it will be processed asap. Happy days.

That's great on the email option, I did not know about that, thanks again for all the help up to this stage after this should all things go ok I then have to submit the application for the Rifle, that's another hurdle.
