The most unfunny human being in history? I think he's as funny as being on the receiving end of a kick in the bollocks. Does anyone actually like him?

    Less funny then Karl Spain?

I find him very funny. Funnier than some of the others on the show. He is a natural comedian.

The most unfunny human being in history?

He's certainly up there. Along with Rubberbandits, Will Ferrell, John Bishop and Pat Shortt

He used to be a breakfast dj on iradio, always found he tried way too hard and never got why he was funny. Was very surprised when he landed the republic of telly gig

Like so many well known comedians he was probably just the lad that was the class clown and thought he could be a comedian. Nothing original or witty about him really. Might be kind of funny at a house party or something (although id probably find him more annoying) but he really isnt a proper comedian

Think that sums him up perfectly.

Add Des Bishop to the list, a very tedious individual.

Their best mates. Met Des Bishop in Dolans bar after one of his gigs. His fairly boring. Spain is a knob. Keith Pickott (spl?) that ran the comedy show is way funnier.

Compared to the rubberbandits he's a laugh riot.

I think his co-presenter on that show tried his luck on the comedy circuit but never heard of him after that. Or maybe I did and just never remembered his name!

I remember him MCing UL rag week a few years back. It was a courtyard full of people shaking their heads, wondering who gave this guy a microphone

I would let him shout at my face all night long if it means I can look at Jennifer Maguire. So OP, **** you. **** you.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,351 ✭✭✭Littlehorny

Don't agree OP, the award goes to Jack Black. He is just not funny and compared to Bernard he gets paid millions to be unfunny.

What you wanna look at her for?

When I see her I can't help thinking Donaghmede shopping centre must be short a checkout girl.

Des Bishop will always be the worst comedian for me. Always spouting in some agenda. First irish, then alcohol all he needs now is to join the RSA and I can put him down as the most annoying man on earth.

Bernard isn't that bad. His solo bits are much better. Jennifer McGuire hasn't a funny bone in her.

Des Bishop is brilliant. His "immersion" sketch is comedy gold!

    Bernard can be funny.

Cant stand Neil Delamere or Jason Byrne. Mind you, JB was in the late late a few weeks back and he did this hilarious sketch with a piece of an old steel blind!

He's an annoying ba$tard. What's worse is that people think he's a genius for having Irish mannerisms and accents learned and he only living here for ten years or more.you'd want to be after having a lobotomy to not notice these things after that length of time

That's the appeal of her,she looks like a really hot, gamey bird you'd know in real life.

I thought Dermot Whelan was good , kept the show together, the new guy is just average at best. Maguire isn't funny or witty, Bernard is middling but seems a nice lad so go easy.

Jason Byrne is poor , Bishop is a royal pain in the arse. Wish he'd **** off back to Connemara.

I think he's funny. Not bad with the guitar either.

    Jennifer McGuire is a roide.

Aw I've met Karl Spain a few times and he's always so sound. Very good craic without trying too hard to be funny while he's talking to you. I'd agree that Des is a bit subdued in real life but in fairness he doesn't have to be a comedian 24/7. In fact a lot of comedians are like that.

I definitely think it's one of the hardest jobs in the world. Comedy is such a personal taste thing- like for example I cannot understand the appeal of Mrs. Brown at all, yet it's insanely popular. It must be so bloody nerve-wracking to have to try and make people laugh for a whole show, especially when you know that there will always be people in the audience who just don't "get" what you're about, even if you're playing a sold out gig. There has to be a certain element of madness about a person who would put themselves through that!

True :D Good eye candy and a roide. Many a man would enjoy putting their bone in her.

Her show the fear was a failure for lack of creativity. Same sketch over and over again.

Nothing will ever come close to Naked Camera. Wish they'd bring it back. Comedy gold.
