With the exception of their constant promotion of house price increases (bull) ann they ever seem to do us spread panic misery and worry...

Robbery, poverty, pa strikes 'crippling' the country and some friend of the paper's tale of woe

    It's a dreadful rag altogether

I fully agree and have stopped reading it since January this year. A rag with a strong bias.

Indeed, the Indo in January was completely different to how it was in December. And the December before that, and the December before that......

They do have Barry Egan though who is the Balzac of our time. A fearless and pithy chronicler of Irish social mores.

Hmmmm, I always thought it was Ian O'Doherty who was the ballsack of our time?

I got sick of The Journal.ie's poll obsession and constant subtle bias in stories, so you know what I did? I didn't read it. Now all is well again! :D

The Indie is what the UK Independent is referred to

That's all well and good. But why read the Info at all if you think it's a rag?

I know that, I just wonder how/where we picked up the O.

Simple, years ago the daily had a competition called "Indo Bingo". It stuck.

I always saw him as more of an Irish Stendhal. At least as far as syphilis is concerned

    Stopped reading it years ago.
It has "journalists" like Myers and O'Doherty who are just trolls that shouldn't be fed and are best ignored.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
