I am cringing from head to toe and I've watched less than a minute. This man is the leader of a country.

    We're beyond redemption.

Yeah because Charisma is the main quality we should look for in a Political leader!

Can you name any qualities that Enda Kenny does have? He is an abysmal communicator. He doesn't seem to have an original thought in his head. An intellectual midget that can't and won't debate. Disingenuous in the extreme. A very obvious faker who can't even act like he cares.

So who from the current political parties leaders do you think is a good communicator, has original thought(whatever that means in the context of politics), is an intellectual giant and so honest as to be beyond reproach?

PS I'm not a Kenny supporter nor a FG supporter, but I think we can easily point at many different times in history where choosing a charismatic leader has not been a good choice.

If you believe in what the Teleprompter says then so be it, but everything he said has no heart as you can clearly see he is just reading from a script. He's an arse-hole in the highest degree in my opinion, waster.

Never answer a question with a question, you were asked if kenny has any positive traits...so go ahead;)

What if I need clarification to answer the original question truthfully, should i not then respond with a question?

Did he go to an undertaker to do his make up or what!?

I can see his eyeballs moving left to right reading from a prompt.

They should of had him sitting there counting money. Would have been more sincere.

Look at his eyes, like he's just reading off a script!

I understand the point of speechwriters, but he must of had no input into what he was saying.

I haven't watched it but what has sincerity got to do with public speaking?

I'm sure we could have placed an actor on screen whose delivery might be more believable but does believability equal honesty now?

None of them. That said, Enda Kenny is the worst of an extremely bad lot, the bottom of the barrel. Incapable, incompetent, a pathological liar, damaging to this country. His blatantly fake and condescending message is akin to spitting in our faces.

Thank you for trying to put words in my mouth, as it happens i made no statement on the honesty of Enda Kenny.

Perhaps you want to answer my question, does believability equal honesty?

Mr Martin of FF and Mr Adams of SF the two major opposition party leaders, would you describe them as pathological liars and fake also?

And the worst thing about it .......... no coordination between the autocue and his ever-turning head. He often was looking to the left of the screen when he had to divert his eyes to the right ......... giving himself a shifty look. Like a youngster doing something wrong and looking out for a guard.
At least he has taken Pat The Plank's crown.

And what's with the terra cotta hair? It looks awful.

A marine iguana would look more lifelike.

If people want a photogenic actor who can appear to deliver a speech with conviction and sincerity, go to the States for your politicians.

Of all the metrics you could use to judge him as a Taoiseach or as a man, his ability to look sincere probably isn't that useful to the electorate.

What's his best "ability" in your view?

I don't know much of any of his abilities, for all I know he's an Olympic standard pole vaulter and a hero in the sack. The issue being discussed is his apparent sincerity.

If he looked convincingly sincere it wouldn't mean he actually was. He could be the best public speaker in the known universe but it wouldn't make him a better (or good) Taoiseach.

Because they all lie through their teeth.
As Rabbitte said "sure that's what you tend to do in elections".
