It's exceptionally unlikely. Google might, theoretically, be able to do it, but aren't likely to for anything less than a life-or-death situation.

On a side-note, why would you ever delete an email on Gmail? I think the last time I did that was 2008

It was deleted accidently with some sales emails I got. I tend to delete unsolicited emails and it went out with them

Even unsolicited ones I just stick in a "Junk" label and archive. There's really no reason to delete them, and it prevents situations like these

Not really, unless you have a backup or it is pushed to a smart phone/email client or something.
