I finished up Thursday evening at 5pm. Back on New Years Eve for the day, then off again until January 6th at 5pm.

I only got the job in October after 5 years out of work.
I would happily have worked every day over Christmas, I'm that grateful to be working :)

I used to work in Arnotts. Used to work till 5/6 on x-mas eve and then back in at 10/11 on St Stephan's Day to get the place ready for the sales the following day. Xmas was too too short. Thanks god I never have to do that ever ever again.

    I'm feeling jealous :(

I'm off the 25th and 26th but in the rest. The worst part of it is that Dublin Bus is running a modified schedule - so it's either a long cold bicycle ride or an expensive taxi :(

The bad news is that I'm working Mon-Fri this week, including Xmas Day. Some essential IT-related stuff that doesn't get days off. .
The good news is that on the 25th & 26th I will (effectively) be getting double time and other benefits to sit around and read a book for 8 hours a day, with an estimated half hour of actual work per day.

You are the type of what the age is searching for, and what it is afraid it has found. I am so glad that you have never done anything, never carved a statue, or painted a picture, or produced anything outside of yourself! Life has been your art. You have set yourself to music. Your days are your sonnets.

Should finish up around 4pm Christmas Eve then back in on Thursday 2nd. Not too bad as I've just got back from a 6 day break. Since the 7th of dec and until the 6th January I won't have worked more than 2 days in any one working week, And I'm full- time so this has made my slog of a summer really worthwhile. Horror of a time in January when I have to catch up on my work though. Not looking forward to it at all.
