The cost of inhalors?asthma

    Im heading to chemist later to get a becothide 100 and a salbutamol inhalor..could anyone advise me if the cost of each roughly? I dont want to be short...thanks

    Depends on the strength of the becotide, but probably less than€30 for both.

    It's clearly no help today, but I get mine from a prescribing chemist in the UK. 4 of them delivered for less than 50 euro and no doctor visit/fee.
    They are called medical-specialists.co.UK iirc.

    Thanks for replies..we lost med card few months back despite circumstances being same,they mustv tightened up...so i was unsure of the cost,thank you

    Just updating in case anyone needs to know for future reference to say the becthoide 100inhalor cost €23.
    I didnt get the reliever as it turns out its just the same as the one i have at home.

    It is illegal in Ireland to place an order via mail, telephone or internet for mail order delivery of medicines, and illegal to receive the delivery.

    The Customs will openthe package if they suspect it contains medicines, and they will confiscate the items if their suspicion is confirmed.

    The UK website won't tell you this, because they are not breaking any UK laws.

    For future reference it may work out cheaper to buy 6 months supply of inhalers as opposed to one month (prescription for inhalers is generally repeat by 6).

    Make sure you get a drug payment card, comes in handy if you have a lot of meds to buy, save you going over the €144 for the family per month
