    hi,

my sky router broke this morning, not getting a adsl signal, so 5 days for an engineer to come out, even though i begged for a new router.

Plugged in my old belkin n router f5d8633-4 and its getting a signal but i can't get it to connect to the internet.

Spent hours getting my user name and password from hub using wireshark.

    so have in the settings

    connection type : pppoa

    username : xxx@skydsl
password : 8 characters from wireshark
ip assigned by isp : yes
    vpi/vci : 0/38
    mtu : 1454

home page shows me up and down speed which are the same as i was getting with the hub.

Is there anything i can do to get it to connect??? Typing this on edge which won't hold up to FaceTime christmas day.

    thanks
