I will accept both paranormal and scientific explanations and theories. I just got this EMF app on my phone. what is the standard or normal amount of EMF, what is the safe amount for humans and when can EMF be attributed to the paranormal. My EMF is jumping between 400 to 580 mG is this normal, as I kind of doubt the phone itself produces something this much. also would this be enough to cause hallucinations.

yes thats normal. its only an idea that emf has anything to do with the paranormal - though there are some who are researching that line a bit further. i went looking for white papers to prove it can cause hallucinations and though ive been though there are studies to prove that, I havent found any. excessive emf has health issues attached to it though. theres more info at http://www.emfcenter.com/emffaqs.htm though thats just one at random I grabbed from google

I wasn't aware that smart phones have EMF sensors now, although I'd have thought that the phone would set itself off because mobile phones give out a strong EMF signal.

smart phones have magnometers which are used to trace emf. very badly it would have to be assumed.
