    Hi guys,
just bought first home, engineers report has recommended some internal insulation / dry lining (there is a cold thermal bridge visible across the front rooms of the house, corresponds to external gutters / block work)

I had a look at the videos on the SEAI website, one of which claims that the ISOVER system is the only type of internal insulation recommended by the SEAI. Installation looks clean and straight forward enough.

Does anyone know of any installer servicing the Kerry area?
House built in 2006 - still waiting on confirmation from SEAI if it qulaifies for grant or not!

Has anyone any opinions on this system? Is there anything else you might recommend that is more effective?

All help and opinions appreciated, thanks.

Depends very much on your wall specification but external wall insulation is far superior to internal (in the right situation). Have it properly assessed and perhaps also an air tightness test, given it's age,
