we will be staying in limerick for the weekend and looking for something special to do but on a tight budget and came across on the adare manor page. been wanting to go there for a long time and thinking of trying the festive afternoon tea this sunday but then i saw achristmas festive menu (€26.95 two course meal) on their carriage house restaurant and bar. for anyone who experienced the two which would be better we cant afford the formal dining there yet so any of the two might do us

    thanks and regards

Afternoon tea is sandwiches, buns, cakes and tea. The festive meal is a dinner. It depends on what you want to eat and where.

OP just to clarify. The carriage house is the golf club. Excellent food but would not be in the same building. I have had afternoon tea and although a tad pricey it is definitely a well deserved treat. So much food we end up ordering 2 lots between 3 people.
